I think the original context of the statement in the first post was
"Java FTW" (for the win).
But I'm now more inclined to think that the general consensus of the meaning of FTW is fuck the world, as it makes more logical sense. |

the word Java has been used since 1850 for a kind of coffee grown on Java and nearby islands of modern Indonesia.
I always thought coffee being called 'java' started in the 1930's so this is news to me also. |
